Default MAD DOG GRIPS

Does anyone using these grips on their Polaris ATVs
know if the bar ends can be cut for mounting the
Polaris Mirrors? I don't think it can cuz it seems that
the ends inside are metal if you were to cut the rubber
end, but I don't know its just a guess? I want to relocate
my mirror from the bar/winch mount to the bar ends
where they should be.

Thanks for the input!

I installed the HotGrips hand warmers on My 400 Sportsman and their recommendation was to use a hole saw and drill through the end of the grip for the mirror mount. The hole saw could be no larger than a 7/8" and preferably a 3/4" due to the heat grid in the grip.
That hand grip has such a strange shape to it that a hole saw would probably not work.
You might try a hacksaw to get the end off.

Yea, from my stand point I don't want to hack or chew it to peices especially to find out that the mirror
ends won't work, you know what I mean? I do like these grips, way better than stock and the OURYs -- IMO!

After seeing that thing and hearing you talk about cutting the end off it I have to wonder...
