hi guys been reading the forums for a few months now.. gonna pick up the 850 in a few weeks, my question is(cuz stock tires are junk) im gonna get some bighorns for the 850. 26x12x14 for the back and 26x10x14 for the front. WILL THIS WORK with the stock rims? do i need to get spacers? point me in the right direction. its gonna be finished in sage brush green.

Hey RED800, welcome to the Connection, and congrats on the new 850 coming your way.

Anyhow, yes this has been discussed already, and I don't think the tires will work on the back without spacers. There are a couple good threads on that subject in the Polaris forum.

1" spacers will work fine for adding those Horns on the stock wheels if you want to leave everything else stock..you might need to turn up the springs a notch to compensate for the added leverage if you notice the rear seeming soft after adding the spacers....we'll be waiting for your to get her home!

Welcome RED800.
I'm currently running Big Horn 2's on my XP with the stock rims.
You will need to run spacers on the rear for clearance of the swaybar.
PM me for info on the spacers. You could also search for my post on the BH2's
I have pictures in my profile, just click the camera under my avatar.
