What do you run your tire pressure at for running in the snow? The kids pumped the tires up to max. pressure this Fall and I had it out in the Snow today and it didnt wont to go like it used to.

Im thinking 3 in the back and 4 in the front.

Max on the tires is 7 and thats where there at.

 

i have always run them low. ya somethin like 3psi. better trackshion, and better tire wear. if you pump them up to the max. the center of the tire will wear unevon. you might get a few more miles per hr, but not worth it to me. thats my 2cents.

 

3 lb is a good no# all the way around. just dont hit anything solid or it might take the tire off the rim.

 

I run my heavy X2 at 5PSI front and rear year round. No prob's here.

 

I run the Radials on my 07 800 at 3-4 psi. Works well.
On the 500 X2 those are Carlisle Bias tires and they say something like 5psi minimum. I run them at that pressure.
