Default 2003 polaris 330 magnum

yea i have a 2003 polaris 330 magnum and it has a burnt cdi box i orderd a new one and ran it for a wile and seen smoke coming from the new cdi box that i had just put in does any one know what might be the prolbem i also replaced the magneto and the IGNITION COIL

The problem is that you are getting too much power to your cdi or there is a short. If you replace the unit again, get a regulator as well, those are as expensive as the CDI. Did you mess with the wiring before the first one died as well? Check to see if there are any shorts in the wiring or if it has worn through the insulator. By the way, can you send me a picture of your terminal block when you have the plastic off, mine is missing and I need to figure out the wiring.

thanks i will get me a regulator and try that i was looking at the wiring harness no brakes and all the wires have conntenuity so i will try the regulator. yes i will send you some pictures of the terminal block thanks
