Default drain plug size

Could someone please give me the correct allen wrench size for the engine oil drain plug on a 07 800 Thanks

here's a link to the service manual, it says in there
the one that says 700 EFI is the one you want, the 07 700&800 manuals are the sam

Cant seem to find it in the service manual.

I just checked mine and the motor was 6mm and the trans was 8mm

My cuz (SP700) said he couldn't hand loosen it (maybe hes weak LOL). Do you need a high-impact tool
with the right size torx to remove it?

Just used a 6mm on mine, the fold up type, popped loose pretty easy.

LOL... you've got to wonder what the "engineers" at some of these big companies are thinking. The oil drain on mine is a regular hex bolt, and the trani and diff drains are 8mm. WHY wouldn't they make them the same on all their machines? I guess that would make to much sense and would be to convenient for everyone. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Yea, like I always said I am a fan of Polaris products but man some things like the
instructions and the hardware they use, I.E. half/inch hex bolt boggured at the ends
makes it tricky to start grabbing, could of choose any other option. And Mfg. **** me off
when they use all this torx stuff when they can make it alot easier for us owners to
do our own repairs and assembly.
