Thanks for being honest. My point in the first place was made......... that you decided against the stealth after seeing the green one you have, not because of the 08.

Anyways, even though it is 'harder' doesn't seem to mean anything. Like I said, I had a clear coated painted brute force that shows more than the Stealth. I have a 500 with a clear coated black that shows more than the Stealth. My Dad's 800 is a clear coated Sage green and it shows more than the stealth.

Nothing against any of them. I think the green looks great, especially with the black accents around it. I just don't see the need for you to defend your choice.

I do believe the clear coated painted colors are much better than most in the past that were colored all the way through like some of the red Kawi's I have had and seen.

I actually couldn't believe it myself on the XP black paint. Our trails are just wide enough for atv's to get through. You seen my posts specifically about the width of the machine. These trails have branches coming from both directions rubbing the machine. I am really surprised as how well it has held up.....even the 500 and 800, but not quite as well as the Stealth.

As I said, the fenders are a little different on all of them. They have almost like a powder coat type sticker or paint on them. It can crack and peel off. Maybe that is what you are talking about on your 08........Only thing is that all the colors have it on the fenders.

My post are edited to add info not change facts...I am on a crap computer..and if I take to long to post it won't go through..so i edit rather than make 100 posts...
