850 XP EPS in Stealth
#1
My friend called me today... Just got the above machine. Talk about jealous!
It all started last week while we where ice fishing. He really liked how my 800 worked out on the lakes, and was surprised how easy it was to steer. He has bad shoulders and said in the past he could not steer the older models he tried. He also rode a CanAm 800 that another guy in the group had and liked it as well, but liked the Polaris better. He asked what I would get and I told him a Stealth 850 XP.
Now he is all over me to get him out fishing again. Also I made him a deal on a Vexilar flasher for fishing, and he is trying to buy my ice shack.... Man what did I start?

mt,
I believe the new XP finish is similar to an automotive base coat/clear coat finish. In that case, if the scratch is only in the clear, you can polish the scratches out (depending on how much clear is on there). If a scratch goes through the clear coat to the base coat... there's not much you can do other than to re-paint.

whats the stealth????allblack or has it got more???</end quote></div>
It is all black. I'll get you a picture when I can. He can't wait to get it out. It has been really cold since he got it. Today it has made it all the way to 11 degrees. Maybe this weekend he can do more than ride to the end of the driveway and back.

I believe you are right. Most of the XP stealth is a clear coated paint. Some of the fender pieces have a rougher coat on them like the older stealth's. Mine has held up very good with the sticks and things hitting it. The paint on my galaxy silver BF was pretty good also, but the XP paint seems to be a bit better.
