my oil pump on my 94 polaris 300 4x4 2 stroke, lets oil in of the one end but doesn't pump it out the other end

its not going anywhere...its my friends....he took it apart and can't figure out whats wrong with it

 

Is the linkage to it working?? Does the arm move as you apply throttle??
Could be as simple as a plugged filter, but if that was true, oil likely wouldn't get to the pump.
It could be air in it, try bleeding. Owners manual tells you how.
It also could be the pump drive sheared off. Rare, but I have heard of it happning.

Maybe now would be a good time to go pre-mix???
