Default preload settings!!

What preload settings (top to bottom adjustment) do you set your suspension at for diff. terrains, etc... and why.
THis info could help a lot of people understand & test their preload for different conditions.

Default preload settings!!

I had mine set at middle setting and just bumped it up 1 more stiffer to try that. I think it's a preference, trial and error thing.

i also wonder this but i think age of springs comes into play....i think the rears need stiffening so i can hook up sooner... i think its trial and error..[*]Name: quadandsuch059.jpg

On my Scrambler I start at center(mid way) and go up (tighter)just enough where it doesnt bottom out on jumps.I dont worry about suspension sag.
You dont want settings too stiff. What you want is for your suspension to work and do its job.Properly set you shouldnt be able to wheelie too easy
and when you hit a hill it should suck into the hill and not bounce. This should hold true for the Sportsmans too.
