Default tranny leak

I know this strays away from the subject of a polaris or an ATV all together but it does pertain to a vehicle that tows a polaris & some of you guys seem to be a pretty intelligent bunch. Does anyone have any feedback on any tranny stop-leak additives (lucas, stp, etc...) I have a slight leak around the rear section in my ranger & only want to pull the tranny apart as a last resort. Riding & fishing weather are rapidly approaching & I dont wanna be stuck under a truck if ya know what I mean
Thanks in advance.

it sounds like its just the rear driveshaft seal. its not a hard job to do. personally i dont like stop leak additives because if it can stop up a hole whos to say its not going to stop up a port inside the tranny?

Agreed...find out where it is leaking for sure..
If it is the output shaft seal(where the drive shaft slip yoke goes into the trans) it is a simple job and can be done with the tranny installed.
