winch mount with tube bumper
#12
I have the standard front brushguard and WARN winch. sits behind the brushguard and has fairlead.
The problem is when I work the plow, the winch cable is downward rubbing on the tube section of the
brushguard. Any products out there I can install to keep it from grinding my paint off and fraying
the cable? Good thread!
Cheers,

Rick, someone posted pics of a custom roller a few weeks back. Nice setup.
It was a boat roller fab'd into the bumper ...
he cut a section of the bumper out and slid the roller in place
If I wasn't on my blackberry i'd search for it. Looked very functional.

Took a closer look at my bumper today and the previous owner welded it to the machine instead of bolting it on! I am feeling lazy and just wanted to buy and bolt something on, but now I guess I will be fabricating my own winch mount....

Wenty,
I think I remember something like that. I would have concerns though if I replaced a hard strong bar though
meant to protect with a roller. Nothing to the roller. But I guess that would be the sacrifice right? Its always
a compromise. Open to all suggestions!
Thanks,
