Pedals

Have you fixed your problem yet
I have a 2007 800 x2
I have the same overheating problem.
I have tried everything you have too.
My fan and Hot light do not come on when the sensor is unpluged either, just the check engine light.
My fan also works when power is put directly to it.

hey ya haven't figured out the problem yet and i have no money to take it into the shop. All I did was wire the fan into the acc plug and plug it in when I ride. Please let me know if you figure anything out!
thanks

I will be taking mine into the deler tuesday I have ext. warranty and it better cover this. I like my popo but honestly I have had some pretty major problems in less than 12mo. and 200 very easy miles. I am getting older and dont have the intrest in riding hard any more. For 15 years I always rode mx bikes, they were extremely fast and we beat the crap out of them. I dont think I ever had a major mechanical problem with any of them.

When it came to buying a ATV I purchased new so I didnt have to worry about buying something that was abused. And paid a hefty price for it.
I am optamistic but am starting to wonder??

I will let you know what I find out about the popo PEDALS

As I have mentioned in previous posts on this thread I was having the exact same problems as you guys.

After trying everything I coud find on this thread and other similair ones I took my atv into the dealership.

They had it for about 2 1/2 weeks. I checked in with them at about one week. They said they tested the fan w/12 volt power and found to be non-functional and they were replacing it. I tried this exact same thing and it worked fine??? I didnt tell them this because it has ext. warranty and I didnt want to complicate things.

So I waited patiently, and today 1 1/2 week later they called and said it is done. In addition to the supposedly bad fan they also found "no power coming out of circuit breaker"

They replaced a circuit breaker that I didnt know about. The dealer showed me the bad one, it is a black plastic rectangular part about 1"long x 1/2"wide x 1/2 tall with two threaded terminal posts sticking out of it. Part #PO2410323 20 amp circuit breaker $32.19. He said it is located somewhere under the headlight pod area, near a wiring loom, and it sounded like it is wraped in some tubing.

I put some miles on the quad tonight with no overheating and the fan cycling properly.

Let me know if this fixes your problem.
Good luck
