Coolant bottle level
#1
I noticed that the coolant bottle level was approaching the "min" line while using it this weekend. It is still above the "min" line so should I add coolant now or wait until it hits the line? Also, the coolant is green, what can I add to bring it back to the "max" line? I have read some old posts about the horrors of Dexcool but thought that I would ask. I suppose that I could get out the manual and read the directions, but that is not as much fun as asking here. thanks in advance

Check the level when the engine is cold. Fill it to the minimum level. When it warms up, it should rise a bit between min and max.
You could always get the Polaris coolant... then you know you've got the right stuff. As mentioned by Spdecat... get the mix that suits your weather.

I would do as DCT suggests. I noted mine was below MIN when it was 10-degrees out so I topped off to MAX (with the Polaris premix). However, once it warmed up the it was overflowing. I bet my level was fine it just showed low because it was so cold out.
