well my replacement one failed within about 8 months.......
My first factory one gave me trouble when I turned the headlights on.......It would shut the Quad off due to the solid state circuit breakers for protection ...Just faulty no wiring issues.....This was within the 6 months covered by the dealer........
Second one happened when I was outside cooking on the barbque and the Sp 450 was parked near where I was and I heard the cooling fan running.....??

The qquad was cold was not running for at least three-four hours .....So the was the replacement that went bad.......I did go to the dealer and buy the ECm about 145.00 canadian dollars....But she did run my VIN # and phoned my back the next day at home and told me to bring the old one back in and she will fully re-fund my money back.....So now the third one is in there since well over a Year now (Year Sept/08)
No trouble so far.......That's my story on the ECM issues ......

BTW..My wife's still had the Factory one in her Quad until the REcall So I just took it in to get replaced .......There was never any trouble with that one though!!!.....Figure that one out!!.......
