Babbitts poor service

I ordered an ignition upgrade for my Polaris $410+ from Babbitts in early December 2008. After many excuses from them I asked for a refund Jan 26th. I found out that Polaris part was available for shipping on Feb 13th. I ordered again from Babbitts, paid $425+ they refused to lower to prev price. Again more lies about manufacturer delays. I contacted Polaris on Feb 27th, was told part was in stock. I called Babbitts for a refund again and NEVER buy from them.
I have a 2003 twin 600 the original CDI died, replaced it with another. This one lasted about a year. I decided to go with the ignition upgrade part #2202603. With no luck with Babbitts. Anyone out there with the same problem, and your solution or suggestion.

From my experience they are just a middle man.When my clutch took a crap I was going to order it from them but they did not have any and said that they order there parts from polaris and that would take 6 to 8 weeks.So I said screw it and went with another vender.

i had the same thing happen with them. ordered the parts wait two and a half weeks got them but with a part missing. called they said could find it and would have to reorder.
i said forget about it and put the bike back together with the old part . and you right they are just the middle man (no parts on hand) so now when i order parts i call to see if there in stock , and if not what is the general shipping time . but never will i order from babbitts agian.

I posted in here a few months ago about the bad service I got from them too. I wasn't too happy with their service either, and it took me calling my bank to call their bank to get things squared away. I wasn't impressed...
