I'm still looking for opinions on what clutch to buy for my 05 sportsman 700 EFI. Should I go with aftermarket or stock? Will a later model 800 drive clutch work with my driven clutch,and belt? Is an 800 drive clutch better-stronger? I can see the oneway EBS spragg is different in parts pics. Also would like to know where to get TPS adjustment harness polaris tool part # PU-47082,will a dealer order this? There is no listing for this on my local dealers parts fisch.

 

Try SPX tool co. on the harness kit,they supply our tools for Polaris machines! Harness kit requires a reg/rectifier that plugs into harness kit that I'm not positive comes with it or not? Think I pulled one from stock,plus uses a 9 volt battery.

Does anyone know for sure that the belt is turning when idling in Park or Neutral? I'm wondering how long "extended idling" is, and why it's bad for my quad? And if anyone could describe what they mean by "short trip"? Is 40 minutes of riding not long enough to get the engine and exhaust up to temp.? You know, to dry all the water out....Thanks
