How well do they stay on while riding? I got a set this winter and haven't riden with them on yet. I put them on in the garage and can't help thinking they won't stay on when riding hard. Am I wrong?

Mine our from outerwears they stay on pretty well but always seem to get twisted around and end up holding more junk inside instead of keeping it out, After about a month of that I just left them off and made sure I cleaned my quad really good before I put it away. One other thing after a little use they will start wear the paint off your springs if they are not kept tight.

I bought some straight from Shockwears. I got the front set for $33, and the single rear for $11. When I got them, the fronts were way too small. I tried the one for the rear on the front, and it fit great. I sent the fronts back, got a refund of $33, and then ordered two more rear ones for $22. They work great, and stay on really well. I do remove them every other ride, and wash the shocks, coat them with WD-40, and put them back on.

Quadfather,

You coat the outside of the shockwears with WD-40? Or do you mean you coat your shocks?

No, after I wash my quad after each ride, I coat everything but the seat with WD-40. I put the Shockwears back on after the WD procedure.
