Have a 2008 800 HO with 27" mudlight XTR's. Looking for some fender flares and possibly some mudflaps. What brand is everyone buying? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, will check it out. Has anyone tried the Directon 2 brand? They are the only ones that I have seen that has an extension that contours around the back of the bike to give some protection there as well. All others are just on the sides.

mudflaps keep you too clean lol. i do pick up alot of extra tire kick back on my 800 w/ this same set up. ive seen people just make home made rubber flares that work ok but dont give that great looking molded look as well.

I'm shocked that you actually need them. My buddy has an '06 500 sportsman and he comes out pretty clean compared to my '02 Sportsman 700. I may as well not have any fenders... LOL! I believe Polaris has made major wheel well improvements since "02.

I also read somewhere people were using plastic lawn edging and nylon rivets to fabricate their own mud stoppers...

My biggest problem is when pulling My trailer for icefishing and having to drive onto the shore to avoid pressure ridges on the ice the hind tires of the weeler throws mud all over the gear loaded on the trailer.
The last trip I went out onto Fort Peck dam I used My trailer to haul MtLion and another friend on the trailer. It had rained and there was water standing on the ice so all I could do was about 12MPH,any faster than that and the passengers took a shower. Not that they did`nt need one or anything but I sure did`nt want to freeze em to death either.
