Trailblazer with a noisy rear end

Default Trailblazer with a noisy rear end

question for either of you guys... What do i have to disassemble on the clutch side of the gear case???

on the outside or the inside of the housing? to remove the case pull the secondary clutch and the 3 bolts that hold the clutch cover backplate. go underneath and remove the two bolts that bolt the case to the frame (probably a spacer with those bolts too) the at the rear left side of the case is a long bolt that is pushed up against the frame, remove it also. remove the drive chain and the shifter rod and the wire harness thats plugged in.

Default Trailblazer with a noisy rear end

i have it tore down partialy now.. i have the chain,rear fender, breather box,clutch housing cover and the rear pulley taht the rubber belt rides on, what's next????

got it tore down and the case seperated.. new parts coming in tomorrow! any advice on putting it all back together

Default Trailblazer with a noisy rear end

Mine went back together alot faster than I tore it down. Just don't get in a rush and forget one bolt and have to take back apart to put it in!! Sounds like your doing ok.
