Greetings,

While plowing the other day I noticed the fan seemed to be turning on every once in a while...like every 5 minutes give or take. Does this sound normal? The temp was around 25F. It usually happens every time I plow but wasn't sure if it's the norm. I'm not getting any over heating alarms. I didn't think it was being over worked especially with the temp. Anyone else have this happen?

I have found it to be normal with my 500 EFI. I would think that as long as the fan stops, it is doing its job in cooling the system down. IMO.

 

Yes that is normal. You would think because of the cold temp's it would run cooler. But that is not the case. The fan will run just as much in the winter as in the summer
