what oil for the front diff on a 06 800
#1
Just wondering what and how much to use in the front diff on my 800, it was kicking into 4x4 so im going to try changing that, my dealer told me your sappost to put it in 4x4 when on slippery surfaces, my question to him was why did they put a switch for 4x4 on the bar? Will polaris do anything to fix this or is it my problem? I read there is ways of fixing this, just wondering what my opions where?

stendori is right, front cage in diff is probably broke. I have an 06' 500 H.O. and on snow, ice, sand etc. the front end engages while in 2WD IF the rear tires spin fast enough. It operates normal in AWD with both front wheels pulling. As long as rear wheels are not spinning too much it stays in 2WD when it's supposed to.
