My speedometer quit working, 4wd works ok and all lites work awd etc, I am thinking it is the sensor on right wheel hub but thought I would put it out for the pros for ideas, Thanks for help in advance

THE NEEDLE IS VERY ERRATIC AND BY NO MEANS READ CORRECT. I PUT THE SPEEDOMETER FROM MY 1999 SPORTSMAN IN IT, i ASSUME IT WAS THE SAME AND STILL ERRATIC

 

i had a 2000 335 sportsman. when i was not moveing the speedometer said i was. and also if i was goind around 10 i was suposedly going 50 or so. turns out it was the wheeler sensor. so ya id say it is the wheel sensor.

 

OK thanks I will work on it tomorrow, maybe I can just clean it.
