Silly electrical problems...
#1
I found a broken wire at the tps connector on my 2007 500efi x2.I've fixed it with some tape and zip ties for now .I've searched all over for that 3 wire connector with a pig tail to fix it right , but have not been able to locate one.(my local dealer is not an option for me...yet.)
Does anyone know where I could buy that connector?
The wire harrness on my polaris is hard and I've had some chaffing problems causeing shorts.(I think the heat has deterioated the insulation on the wires).
Also would disconecting the tps connector cause the mil to come on even though I reconnected before I turned the machine on?(I've disconnected the batt but the mil stays on)
For now the machine is running good , I don't think the tps is bad , and the way its running I don't think its in "fail safe".

#2876315 map sensor harness kit with connector, about 8 inch wires and heatshrink connectors and instructions from the dealer!
# 2203800 tps kit also available. 9 times out of ten its usually just the harness kit needed, not the sensor.
