Scrambler clutch. HPQ?
#1
ok ive made this thread before and got some good advice. Well in the past my primary lost a chunk off the top of the inner sheave. I replaced a remanufactured one to replace it and the spot where my new clutch was welded has cracked again the company will not take it back . So im thinking out the HPQ, its cheaper than a factory one, i know they are hard to tune.
but would a performance/ polaris pro be able to tune it in for what i want, i have the AAEN top end pipe and clutch kit already.
So would i use the same AAEN springs i have and all that?
Is a different belt needed?
also royal distributing offers it pre calibrated for the atv? yay or nah?
thanks in advanced sorry to be a pain again, also anyone with a personal experience with it please help

Get you a used primary clutch off Ebay and use the sring and weights out of the old one.New primary clutches are too expensive.
Just ask the seller how much play is in the buttons and if the slide towers have much if any wear.

I've never used Ebay lol, im currently trying local cycle salvages but they are apparently rare. So your still saying no dice on the HPQ, what would happen if i got it and stuck all the weights and springs from my current clutch on it? wouldnt work the same or is it just that different?

I have never messed with an aftermarket clutch.THe Polaris clutch is abut as good as it gets when set up properly.
Check out Ebay do a search for Polaris atv clutch and any non EBS clutch will work.should be able to get a good one for less than $100
