Will a 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab fit a Sportsman 500?

Buddy of mine has a extended cab 05 Dakota with a V6 and uses it for his 09 850 XP tires just squeak thru the wheelwells but it works. Tailgate can't be closed but all wheels sit in the bed. Mileage is terrible and good luck up hills but it does the job for him.

F-150 has a truck frame with leaf springs, the Ridgeliner has a car type Unibody with coil springs, not what you want on a real truck if you plan on working it hard.
Its 250 hp transverse mounted V-6 is probably the same one thats in the Honda Accord. A old 160hp 300 inline six f-150 would tow harder.

The 300 straight six is still one of my all time favorite engines. I had an 82 F-100 with a 3 speed column shift, straight six, and I still miss that truck. For what its worth, I used to haul my 500 HO around in my S-10 when I first got it, as I couldn't afford a decent trailer at the time. As long as I've got a trailer, I'll never load a quad in a pickup.
Oh yeah, the back window deal.... I put three slider back windows out of my S-10. For two of them I wasn't even on the quad... bumps on dirt roads both times. Good insurance is worth it.
