my wheeler starts fine & idols no problem. when i put it in to gear & go about
15 miles an hour its ok. when i hammer it to go faster it boggs down & back fires.
i did a complete tune up, changes my clutch belt & adjusted my throttle with less than a 1/16" play & it still does it.
when i changed my cluth belt i could not get my secondary clutch to seperate to lossen the belt. could it be my clutch? or does any body have any other ideas.
owe i also took of my carb & completly cleaned it out & in the process i broke my gas valve on the gas tank - so i have not tryed it since cleaning the carb. im still waiting for my new gas valve to show up before i can start it & test it out.
basically i looking for a few good ideas before i go broke.
thanks

you might try taking the secondary off and looking at the helix and secondary buttons. very easy to get to just need another set of hands to get it back together. if you look up a parts diargram you can see all the parts that are in there. 3 buttons 1 helix 1 spring 1 clip 1 washer and the two sheaves of the clutch. like i said very easy to repair just need some help to get it back together.
