I'm fairly certain that it wouldn't. I did a quick search of their store and didn't see one there for a '99.

Default Bags?

The bags attach to the front of the box on either side of the backrest. They are water resistant at the minimum. I don't think you will be able to ride anyone with you with the box and backrest on the bike. Well at least my 235 lbs say, no.

Hummm, really. Was thinking the backrest would be perfect for a rear passenger. Didn't want to publish the fact, but since we're talking about it now......that was my plan. I have two kids under 8 years old (would prob. work well for them), wife is runnin' about a buck-twenty these days, and I'm about 175lbs. Wife's got some big ones, so they might interfere a bit....well actually, I think I can deal with that. Was hoping somebody could ride for a limited amount of time back there. If not, I really need to come up with another solution.

Disclaimer: I do realize the potential horrors of riding two-up on a non two-up bike.

I went with this combo because a lot of the time I don't have a passenger and the built in back rest is a little far back for me to use.

It allows me to adjust the backrest to fit me for all riding conditions
Take care,
Dave

I should add If my wife goes with me I just take the backrest off and it works out just fine.

Cool. Some of the other guys said they planned to just Velcro a pad to the back of the rest for a rear passenger. -Thanks for the pic BTW, helpful.
