Radial and bias mixing....
Howdy everyone.....I have a friend that has a 1999 Sportsman 500 with the stock Goodyear tires. The fronts need replacing....question is, can you put radial tires on the front and have the stock bias tires on the rear. Any problems with the ride or steering.....Thanx, NoJoke.

I think it would be OK as long as they are the same left and right.
Since the front and rear will handle things different by nature, a tire difference split front/back would probably not be noticed too much. Since the old tires are probably worn anyway the biggest difference will be old/new and not radial/bias.
It would probably be scary to mix a bias and a radial left/right because that would cause an uneven ride. But front/back should be fine.
