Post Predator Oil Tank

So here's a question, why would anybody pay polaris $115 for a freaking plastic oil tank when you can buy an aluminum one for $130 that holds more oil? I need to get a new oil tank as I stripped the bolt on mine which is just awesome

Polaris going to the cheap plastic oil tank was a plain cop out for production costs. I did not know the older aluminum alloy oil tank held more oil, but the alloy are stronger and the "air fin sides" helped dissipate heat better as well.

Yeah money is kind of tight but i'm thinking i'd rather get the aluminum so it would run cooler and maybe the fan wouldn't be running all the time
