Question Fluid Confusion - YOUR INPUT NEEDED

I've searched the internet for Polaris fluid substitutes, came up with useful info, but there are some discrepancies. Below is the stock fluild listed for my ATP330, and the options I've found, or not. I would really appreciate your input as to which fluid truly is the correct substitute.

FRONT GEARCASE OIL
Polaris Premium Hub Drive Fluid (#2781654)
Substitutes:
Amsoil Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)
Amsoil STL Shock Therapy #5
Any Type F ATF
Dextron III Trans fluid

TRANSMISSION OIL
Polaris Premium Synthetic Gearcase Lubricant (#2783602)
Substitutes:
Amsoil Series 2000 Synthetic Chain Case Oil (TCC)

REAR GEARCASE OIL
Polaris Premium Synthetic Gearcase Lube (or GL5 80-90 weight gear lube)
(I assume the stock fluid is #2781653, Gear Drive Fluid)
Substitutes:
Amsoil 80w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube (AGL)
Amsoil 75w-90 Severe Gear Lube (SVG)

The owners manual describes the tranny and rear gearcase as using Polaris Premium Synthetic Gearcase Lubricant, and Lube, in addition to referencing GL5 80w-90 lube for the rear gearcase, but not the tranny. This is leading me to believe that the substitutes I have listed above are accurate, but being new to the Polaris ATV scene, I'd appreciate some of the knowledge "you's" all have.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Depends on the year some of the newer sportsmans like my 500 HO takes one fluid for the tranny and rear end . There one unit so when you change the tranny fluid your also changing the rear fluid . There's one drain plug and one fill plug that's it .

the front end oil is the most important to be right or the hillard might not work right or have issues down the road. most people are choosing to use the correct polaris brand to be on the safe side. just my .02

Here ya both.

What stinks is the fact that the owners manual basically calls the fluids the same for the tranny and rear gearcase, but add the GL5 80-90 reference for the gearcase, that leads me to believe their are two seperate fluids being used on this '04 ATP330.

Digging up this vintage thread to see if there is any additional input to the original questions.

Thanks again.

Seems like in all the comparisons I've seen in here, that was the one no one could find an equivalent to. Just going by memory on that, and it ain't what it used to be.

with the 2010 introduction frt diff oil is the same as the adc fluid the adc works on hydro so a good hydro oil would work whats everyone else think

Seems like the same consistency as the old ATF they used to call for, Maybe they added bluish/green color to it to fool everyone

See, that's why I have 2wd. I don't know the difference. You guys with the 4x4 come by and see me stuck and pull me out.

Then come here and tell stories about some guy you pulled out this weekend and what the heck was he thinking to get in that spot to begin with.
