Lost engine braking?

I tore it apart today and took the cover off. The belt looks really loose but once its running it spins pretty fairly. It is spinning the secondary at idle, and the secondary looks like its whobbling faintly. It still isn't moving quick enough, and makes a whining sound on the de-rev. I'm going to upload a video of it and i'll post it when its done.

You've got problems there.

Not the best video, but have a look at this one. After he puts the belt back on, you'll see how it's supposed to work.

I've actually already watched that. So theres more issues than what could be a only a stretched belt?

The whining you hear is most likely in the primary and the washers I spoke of. You can bust the primary a part, and there is a bushing/washer under the primary. I would buy at least 2 of them, on some clutches, I have had to use 2 of them. As for the secondary, can't a good enough look to see the wobble is all about

Thanks for the help. It couldn't be the belt itself? I can hear the belt rattling on the plastic.

Your problem is in your secondary.Either a broken spring,worn out buttons,or a trashed helix.Your secondary is sticking open and not taking up the belt slack.

This is a perfect time to rebuild both clutches, get the belt dust out, and replace worn components. Do you have tools to do the job??

No I dont, nor do I have the knowledge or know how.. this is what I was afraid of. I dont wanna throw all of they money to get this fixed..

A whole new driven clutch is only $280. Much cheaper than that if you just replace the broken parts.

Well I really have no idea what i'm doing so i'm afraid i'm gonna have to let the shop handle it. This sucks.

What would need to be replaced something in here?
