After riding my brother's 250 Explorer, I have a great appreciation for low-range. I know machines like the 325 Magnum use the same engine and have it. Would there be a possibility of changing the Boss over to the hi-low gearbox? I feel like this is the one real weakness of my machine. Anyone have a clue about this possibility?

Depends on whether there has ever been a Polaris 2 wheel drive concentric chain drive model with hi/lo and then only maybe.

I don't see why not there is the 325 magnum 2X4 this is a real weekness if you put bigger tires on the rear end my friend just put 25' 589 titans on the rear end and now it will do great in the mud but it is hard to get them to turn if you stop. I have a rcr white primary spring that we are gonna put in and see if it helps any.
