Just curious here I just wanted to know how many miles everyone was getting on a tank of gas with there Scram 500.
I just put in a 165 main jet when I put on my K&N filter the stock size was a 155.
I plan on going on a long run this weekend and not to sure how much gas to bring.
And how much my fuel economy is going to suffer with the larger jet.
Thanx Guy's

Have a good one

I have a 4x4 SC500, and I get about 55-65 miles to a tank of gas. That's running about a steady 35 mph. That's on trails up in Wis. Now when I'm out on some rough trails, I can ride really hard, and I mean hard, and get about 4 hours on a tank. Have no idea how many miles it is though. Hope this helps.

Gas mileage is not that great if you ask me. If it`s muddy and you need to use AWD a lot and your always on the gas my mileage is about 45 miles on a tank. Just cruisin on fairly flat even terrain in 2 wd I might get 60. HTH

I watched an HPD modified Scrambler get 41 miles per tank last weekend. I thought it was a fluke but the feat was repeated twice.

Remember this when you're deciding how much gas to take. Trail miles on the map are not the same as miles ridden. I don't know about you, but I never start my atv, and drive directly point to point. There's always the little extra stuff. Fuel burned spinning out, doing donuts, exploring side trail, etc. Not to mention back-tracking, hitting that "cool jump" over and over. Just some things to think about. HTH.
