Axle removal?

I did this just the other day with a stubborn front axle. Get yourself a 1 1/8" muffler clamp and an autobody slide hammer. Put one of the hook attachments on the slide hammer and bolt it down firmly to the axle with the muffler clamp. Now hold the slide hammer so that the axle is pointing strait out, apply some weight to it and come onto it about 3 or 4 times and I will pop right out.

Actually my dealer told me the same thing about if one axle is stuck, you can try to remove the other side and tap the stuck one out with a punch. This was for the rear gearcase not sure if the front is the same way.

well i dont remember seeing it like that but maybe you can do it the way they said
