Default 2005 sportsman 700 efi problem!

For some background info: don't really ride the quad allot. Take it out hunting in spring and fall. This spring I figured I'd change all the fluids in the bike. I went to my Polaris dealer and got the required fluids. My manual said to fill to the check fill plug level in all areas (ie front axel/rear axel/transmission and 2 quarts in the engine) It also said 5 oz's in the front and rear axels. It did seem that I didn't take all that much out of the axels, but I replaced the fluids to the fill plug level. I took the bike out on a spring hunt and noticed that it took more rpms to make the bike go. Normally at 30 mphs on a dirt road I'd be doing around 3200 rpms, I was doing 4500 rpms and above. The spark plugs I put in were NGK's and gapped correctly. Did I over fill the axels? Also I now have a front axel leak that I didn't have before! WTF Any advice?

the fluids should have nothing to do w/ a change in the rpm's. a slipping or a bad belt would be more the reason why then anything else. imo.

Stendori: Maybe it is the altitude that made me think it was running slower, less efficient. Is there an overflow for the front axel if you overfill it? There isn't any leaks from the front seal. I ran it for 30 minutes today and no leaks.
