front diff

Default front diff

is the diff from a 06 450 the same as a 06 800?

all the newer sportsmans have the same front end.
i take that back, all except the ones that have adc which also would be the same for the ones who have adc.

thanks guys, i found one that has a new cage and seal for $350. the one in my bike has a lesking seal input shaft has some play up and down and there is alot of play in the diff when you turn the input shaft back and forth, should there be any?

there are used complete front diff for $400-$500 on ebay.

If you're intending on swapping to replace a diff with a broken cage or warped armature plate, i'd suggest saving the money and putting john deere parts in your current differential. I recently did mine, and it works like brand new for around 100 bucks.

I have major play in the drive shafts were they go into the diff, It only has 1200 miles on it, im not too impressed

polaris does have some slop in the drive line right from the factory. not the best design for sure but it works.
