i got my report card about a month ago and i did really bad like str8 d's and a f so my dad said if i dont bring it up he would sell all the 3 quads and that was a scary thought so for a month i worked my butt of in school and whenever i would get lazy with school work i would hink about my quads and it would make me work harder scary aint it well got my rteport card 4 a's and the rest b's my dad lets me keep the quads he gave me 100 bucks and im gunna use it to get stuff for the quads and he said if i get keep em up hes gunna pay half for a 400ex i want. well the moral of the story is do good in school and ull get good things.

I wish my dad would have offered to buy me a quad when I was at school. Come to think of it there was no such thing as a quad back then.
Keep up the schoolin kid and ride hard.

I told my 2 sons that if they ever brought home straight As on a report card we would go down that night and buy the quad of their choice.
Well that wasn't enough incentive I guess, it's never happened. I meant it too.

I gotta say that a person your age shouldn't have to work so hard to get good grades. I think it's unfair for parents to demand that their kids get "A"'s in order to keep their atv's. How do you feel now that you gave in to the oppression of young people and didn't stand up for your rights to put whatever effort you feel is fitting into your work? You should demand that your parents get OFF OF YOUR BACK and stop treating you like some dumb kid!!!!!!!
And while you're at it tell him you know of a guy that's looking for a couple quads he can pick up cheap [me]. ;-)
If that doesn't work you might as well keep getting good grades.

I think you really might consider setting them a more realistic goal. They could work like heck and miss one "a". You could start by making a great improvement a goal they could reach.

Why, when I was a lad we didn't have 4-Wheelers, we had 3-Wheelers and were damn glad to have em! I can remember getting up an hour before I went to sleep to go work in the sweat shop where we made ill-fitting aftermarket parts for mopeds. I had to walk sideways and backwards for 6 hours in a driving blizzard/hurricane/earthquake to get to work. going home was easy as I lived in a rolled up newspaper at the bottom of a septic tank.

Kids these days have it so easy. LOL

Congratulations on the good grades. Keep it up and remember there isn't always going to be such a great incentive to do well in school. The better you do in school the better job you will have and the more disposable income to buy cool toys (like quads an such).

kids nowadays have it way too easy..didnt matter what grades i had i wasnt getting no quad or anything like it when i was a kid, money was tight..kids should do more without having to have these incentives..we worked and paid for any toys we wanted.. i hope my kids will want to do better wthout having me to dangle trinkets, maybe im dreaming about that but boy is it different from whne i grew up
