I have a 97 Sport 400 and I need a good set of brake pads. Im looking for something that will last. Anyone have any experience with the pads sold by Hot Seat Performance? Any suggestions?

Thanks, Chris

Boxbrakes or EBC sintered pads. EBC are available through dealers or Rocky Mountain.

Brasspad, I havn't tried them yet. They are on my living room table looking at me since the begining of winter. The Scramblers in the garage in over a hundred pieces for the next week or two.(mods) The old pads are just about used up so I was waiting for a warmer day to do the break-in on the brass pads. (didn't want to do it in -20 degree weather) I will most definately post the results...may be a month or two though...it's snowmobile season!

Well, good luck anyway, I know you won't be disappointed.

I just got an interesting project. I have a trailer full of XR-75's. 3 frames, 3 complete engines and 3 or 4 extra's of everything. will be a lot of fun to fix one up.

I have a rear set of brass pads, they are BY FAR,the longest lasting pad on todays market,I've tried them all.

They do not stop worth a damn, but this is NOT due to a defect in the pads, its a design flaw in Polaris rear braking system.I HIGHLY recommend these pads for mud riders, you'll love them,
Bill
