Default 400l engine, how to get front top end nuts off?

Hi All,

Im not the most mechanical guru, Im trying to get the top end off to be rebuilt. The only problem is getting to the 9/16 cylander nuts, I got the back two off with an open end wrench but i cant get the two front off because the clearance is so limited. Is there a special tool to do this, Im worried about when I have to retorque them to spec, I wont be able to get ratchet on there.

Thanks,
HoopD

first answer was about the head, sorry!! A flex head 14 mm wrench Or whats called a drop 12/14 mm combo wrench works the best on the tight spots. Each wrench end drops about 1 inch allowing better access. Engine is metric!
