all three of the closest polaris dealers to me let you test drive them. just need to sign a release, show your license, put on a helmet and away you go. I guess im just lucky. I feel bad I have never bought a brand new bike yet , the wife and I were just getting into the sport so we wanted to see how we liked it....we are hooked lol.

I sure wouldn't want to buy an atv that everyone ran the crap out of. They should have a demo that you can ride to get the idea.

the Polaris dealer around me has two times a year a day where you can go to test drive all the models. They do it in an area with small trails I think. I just missed it by days before I started looking.

I wouldn't even consider a dealer that doesn't have an option for me to test drive. I have 3 dealers within 30 minutes that all allow a test drive. I have never been to a dealer that hasn't allowed it. Most require a helmet and a waiver. My most recent purchase they handed me the keys and said have fun. I even test drove a EPS model with Tracks. That's what sold me as I had an 08-800 with tracks and the new one was a significant improvemnet.
