Default Carburetor drain screw leaking

My book just shows the screw, anyone rebuilt a carburetor and know if the screw has a rubber o-ring. Can I just back it out and replace a seal. Any idea why the drain might start to leak?

No o-ring on carb drain screw! If its leaking at the tube under the carb, could be needle and seat or float level causing the leaking? Carb bottom has an overflow tube for this purpose!! If fuel level gets up too high, will drain out the overflow tube.

Thanks for the reply, I went by the shop I use today but they went out of business over the weekend. Maybe I will try to rebuild it myself.
