I took off my wheels to get all the grease zerks on my Sportsman. I noticed that my mud bugs have been slightly rubbing on the front right side. With the wheels on and the quad in the garage there is 3/16 to 1/4" space between the rubber and the tie rod. Should I worry about this? I am concerned that mud and gravel may collect here this summer and do worse damage. Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone used Highlifter wheel spacers? Pros and cons of wheel spacers. I can't use washers because my wheel studs are flush with the nut now!

I added 3 flat washers on each stud behind the rim and it works great. I added the washers to the right ride only and the TRE boot is OK for 300 miles or so now. This fix was given to me in this forum and has worked for others. Good luck.
