Clunk, when shifting into forward or reverse on my Trail Boss 330

That noise is nothing more than the secondary clutch stopping from spinning & locking into gear when you select forward or reverse. The secondary usually free spins a bit with the primary clutch when fired in nuetral.---Proflow

i have a 07 trailboss and it does the same thing. Some times it shifts like butter. Other times i feel as if i rounded off the tips of the gears.

my wife and kid both have 05 330's and they both do that. Thanks for the spring info guys.

Default trailboss

i have a 2000 325 trailboss and 2001 triailblazer and both have done it since new .just check and change fluid .no problems .

i have a 06 scrambler that does that once in awhile. all i do is tighten the bolt on the shifter that contects it to the trans and it stops till it loosens up again.
