Is it just me or has anyone else experienced poor to no support from Polaris and their dealer network? In the few months I have owned my quad I have had absolutly the worst ownership experience. It takes forever to get parts in to fix it, and then I have to constanly bug them to get it done. I have ordered parts that took up to 5 weeks to get in from polaris, only to find them to be of the poorest quality.
My neutral light has never worked and I am still waiting for a new light.
I wrote Polaris a letter today and also the dealer I bought it from. I hope nobody else is getting the same treatment.

I live in between two dealerships. The one west of me is the worst I have ever seen. They offer a little better prices on the quads, but the mechanic is a joke.

The place just south of me has the most competent mechanic I've ever seen. He is knowledgable, honest, and straight to the point. He wont sell you stuff you dont need, either. I'm glad he did all of my mods and clutchwork, as he is the exact same size as I am. By the way, the dealership is Bair's, in North Canton. The guys name is Tom. I don't mind paying $200 more for a quad when you get service like they give.

i find simalar things at my dealer, there OK with service but not that good and very slow.

i think the main reason that there are so many dealers that are bad is that most to them have a monopoly in there local market for there product.

i know for me it would be at least a 40 mile drive to the next dealership, wheres the one i go to is only 5 miles away.

if polaris allowed more dealerships in a given area then we would get good service because of competition.

I think researching the dealer you buy it from is just as important as the price....unles you have a different dealer (than the seller) that won't stick it to you if you didn't buy the quad from them.
I have a local dealer that is competant, sometimes I get aggrevated at them, but they always treat me fair when it comes to charging out their time...there's not much they can do with the cost of parts as long as they don't charge over 10-15% over cost.
My best advise is to establish a "working" relationship with a dealer...make him gain your trust and be reasonable to his situations at times. I confer with him on his work status before I ever take my ride to him...that way I know what type of wait I have in store.
I know this isn't the ultimate answer, but it might be a place to start.

Im sorry to hear about such a delay on your parts but I think your dealer is bull s****ing you.
Im in Canada and anything Ive ever ordered is in for sure in 3 days.I do find that the dealers are a bit foggy when it comes to the little Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word ley problems that these polaris quads seem to have . its somtimes feels as if there trained on the sleds but the quads just get dropped off at the door and they dont know alot about them .
My advise would be to buy a workshop manual and work on it your self. It works for me and I really have'nt had any heart breaks as yet.
Happy trails
Matt
