Default I finally got my bike back!

Well its been since April 2nd that I flipped and rolled her (08' 2008 Sportsman) good down a mountain hill down at Hatfield and McCoy. I had to wait 2 weeks prior to bring it in the shop and then they took it on the 18th. Just picked her up last night (June 11th) so just over 2 months. Its been a crazy ordeal! (Insurance repair)

Good news is I plan to go riding next weekend and test her out good, hopefully I won't get cheated this time around.....:-)

Cheers,

R'

Glad you got your steed back. Just remember, lay on the bars going up, lay on your rear rack going down.

Hey thanks you all! Yea, no more Life or Death hill climbs for me! I just like the trailing challenges and mud holes Vs. steep hilling anyways! I have learned alot from this experience. I now OWN a chest/back protector that I intend to use for more protective
gear when riding these intense rocky mountain trails. I also adjusted my rear suspension to compensate some for rear squattage issue (maybe sacrifice a little ride comfort but well worth it).

I won't do any preaching to anyone but if anyone is interested in my experiences with going thru accident/insurance repairs, coverage issues, disputes, , safety tips, lessons learned, etc. send me a PM.

Now some more projects to do before my next ride. Rotopax mount, gearcase fluid change maintenance.

Cheers,

R'

It's good to hear you got it back R!
Some folks learn from their mistakes and some don't, it sounds like you did!
Just always remember and use your most valuable piece of safety equipment....
