Default Lock&Ride warez!

All,

Just checking on who has what L&R warez. Whats your opinion of it?

I really like my L&R rear cargo box with backrest and side bags! I think this product
is HIGHLY under-rated! I really recommend it! Ironically I think it kept me in from slipping off the rear rack when I toppled my bike. It also held up to several rolls and I think protected against more damage from happening - IMO.

Gun Scabbard - Okay, it holds my 30-06 with scope nicely and kept the rain off of it. Would be nice if it held two rifles side by side, any know of some that do?

Cheers,

R'

Default Lock & Ride

I have the rear lock & ride box too. My only complaint about it is they don't hold near as much stuff as the pre lock & ride box. The front cargo storage makes up for it somewhat but I am a firm believer in never being able to have enough stuff when out riding!

I have the XP L&R front storage box installed...and it is a QUALITY product!

NOTE: An issue is that the instructions that came with the XP L&R front storage box were not correct. It had the bushings in the wrong order! I had to refer to the XP OEM L&R front rack for proper bushing placement.

Thats a question i have been trying to get answered right there! So the newer box is smaller inside then the older one? I am trying to decide on wether to get the newer box or the older style box for my new '09 XP.

Well...will the older box fit on the XP? I thought the mounting locations were different...

I have a new 850 XP and the box from my 2005 700 fits just fine. The dealer tried to tell me it would not fit. Glad I waited and tried my first as it fits just fine. I also have the backrest and sidebags on my box. Holes where the same and the box works on the new XP. Hope this helps.

Yeah it does fit fine. I tried my cousins on mine. I am just curious if the newer boxes have more storage room in them. Anyone help me out with some pictures maybe?

Thanks!
