Has anyone heard of the exhast cracking by the head . I have I think exhaust noise coming from the front of the motor.I don't see any cracks. It could be the gasket at the head too the exhast.I can feel a little exhast leak coming out ot the joint where the springs hook on is this normal. This quad only has 1700 miles thanks for all the help

Some have a prblem with the manifold cracking. Mine didn't crack but it did melt the plastic and was too hot to ride in shorts. I replaced my exhaust with a 06 800 header. It was a big improvement.

i would replace it w/ the 800 headed for sure as the pipe isnt a small and he's right about the big differnce you notice. there have been alot of post of this a long time ago so it has been a common problem for some.
