Question Carb Leaking after cleaning

Sportsman 600 twin. After tear down and cleaning it seems to be leaking when I give it hard on the throttle from what looks like a little tit at the bottom of the carb. Any thoughts what?

Probably normal, mine all leak a bit of gas out the overflow in the carb, could be from bouncing around and such.

Ive never seen it before, but at the same I was never looking for it. Its something I just say after I did the cleaning. But why would it leak out?

You probably tweaked the float during cleaning. Lowering the float level should help.

the brass arm that is connected to the inlet needle.. if you bend the little tab to touches the inlet needle it moves it one way or another. move it closer to the carb body and it lowers the float level. move it away from the carb body and it raises the float level. specs call for +/- 1/32" float arm to carb body so pretty level

I was pretty easy on it when I took it apart. Looks like Im taking it apart again to check the float.
