I went and watched quads race for the first time on saturday. It was in a arena and was a pretty tight squeeze. I was wondering if a scrambler could compete in one of these races. There were no huge jumps and I thought I would actualy be able to compete. The only thing that I would be concerned about is the whoops. Could a scrambler with stock shocks be able to handle these and still be able to compete? I think the automatic would work awsome in the tight turns, but I may be wrong. Any imput is appreciated. Tell me if I'm wrong, I can take it.
Thanks

I personally never seen a polaris in a motorcross race. But talking to Rick Ritter, he says he sets up Polaris's for Motocross. So I guess they can handle it. Go figure

HPD sets up a scrambler for motocross. It is using a special frame he built. So basically the only thing that is Polaris is the motor and plastic. It is supposed to be an awesome machine.

I've seen several Scramblers and Trail Blazers run MX here at the local county fairs. Never seen one win but they appear fairly competitive if setup correctly. In these event's its more the rider than the machine. For example, in the women's power puff class a Trail Blazer almost took it all against 400ex's, Banshee's and the like. Most of the guys watching agreed they could have beat them in reverse. Not to slam the ladies out there, just in this case they were all novices.

I've never seen a Polaris in a motorcross situation, except for gncc races where you have to go through one as part of the race. MY opinion is the Polaris is best for the gncc due to its weight.

2000 Polaris SC.500 K@N air filter, douglas 190 tires, supertrap pipe, AAen roller cluch, Holeshot
XCT tires, Protaper handlebars, and much more to come.

That looks pretty close to it. at www.atvnews.com web pge they did an article on one also. The frame and swingarm are custom built by HPD but the arms and brakes or from the Honda 250R
