Default Loud Polaris Trailblazer 250

I have an '05 Trailblazer 250 with an aftermarket pipe/can combo. I love the power and I don't mind the sound. However, everyone else does seem to mind the sound. Anyways, any suggestions on a muffler or something that won't compromise the power too much (I realize that I could just go back to the dealer and get a stock pipe, but I don't want to do that).

Thanks for any help

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

THe quietest would be a stock 400 Scrambler muffler.Wont cost much in the HP dept. The best would be to find a FMF TurbineCore II or HPD Quiet serries

Yep. all that. The stock 400 can is quiet bu t heavy. I don't like loud. Is there any way you can repack yours and then put a 90* turn down on it some how? Doc

That looks RCR to me, that end cap should be steel. Find something around an 1 1/4 diameter in a 90* bend and tack it on and see if it makes it better.

i tries a 90* turndown, made it louder. i did, however, take off that end and open it up. when i slid off the outter sheath, the inner core was just the two ends and a roll of mesh type metal forming a tube. a little bit of 'insulation' type material came out but not much of it was in there (i imagine that stuff is what i would repack it with?).

i guess i might have to just get a stock silencer

That is where you repack the silencer, for about ten dollars on ebay you can buy the material.
